Genome Parcel registrations represent uniquely identified segments within the MyGeneCode Registry for commemorative and educational purposes only. Registration does not create exclusive rights to the underlying DNA sequence or prevent other persons, researchers, organizations, databases, or companies from studying, reproducing, using, publishing, synthesizing, or otherwise working with the same genomic sequence.

MyGeneCode does not collect, sequence, analyze, store, or test a customer's personal DNA unless a future product expressly states otherwise. Genome Parcels and gene information are derived from published reference genomes, scientific databases, and other publicly available scientific resources.

Genomic coordinates, genome assemblies, gene annotations, gene functions, and other scientific information may change as scientific databases and reference genomes are updated. MyGeneCode may therefore correct or update scientific information associated with a registration while preserving the identity of the original MyGeneCode registry entry where practical.

Descriptions of genes, traits, behaviors, health characteristics, or biological functions are provided for general educational and entertainment purposes. Individual genes rarely determine complex human traits by themselves. MyGeneCode content should not be interpreted as predicting the personality, health, abilities, behavior, ancestry, disease risk, or genetic characteristics of any individual.

MyGeneCode does not provide medical advice, genetic testing, genetic counseling, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or other healthcare services. Nothing on this website should be used to make medical or healthcare decisions.

Products involving dragons, unicorns, extraterrestrial life, mythical organisms, or other fictional creatures are creative and speculative representations. Their genomes and genetic systems are fictional unless specifically identified as being based on a real organism or published scientific concept.

Certificates, artwork, Genome Parcels, Gene Dedications, registry numbers, Genome Passports, and similar materials are commemorative products and are not government records, legal certificates of title, scientific laboratory reports, or evidence of biological ownership.

References to scientific databases, universities, research organizations, genome projects, publications, or other third parties do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or approval of MyGeneCode by those organizations.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that names, messages, images, and other personalization submitted to MyGeneCode may lawfully be used for the requested product. Customers should avoid submitting unnecessary medical, genetic, or other sensitive personal information in dedication messages.

Any references to rarity, uniqueness, collectibility, edition numbers, transfers, or future availability refer only to the MyGeneCode registry or product system. MyGeneCode products should not be purchased as investments, and MyGeneCode makes no representation that any product, registration, or collectible will increase in monetary value.

The availability and duration of registry services are governed by the MyGeneCode Terms of Service. References such as “permanent,” “forever,” or similar language, where used, refer to preservation within the MyGeneCode Registry subject to those Terms and the continued operation of the registry service.
